Our mission is to provide the support, flexibility, and hands-on experience students need to build successful careers in medical aesthetics, laser technology, and advanced skincare.

As a state-approved institution, our programs meet strict regulatory standards and align with Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) laser licensing requirements, ensuring students are prepared for real-world practice and professional success.

With years of industry experience, our instructors go beyond basic certification! Through personalized guidance, hands-on training, and practical education, we help students develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to succeed in today’s growing aesthetics industry.

We understand that many of our students balance careers, families, and busy schedules! That is why we offer flexible hybrid learning programs that combine self-paced online coursework with in-person clinical training, allowing students to gain valuable real-world experience while learning on a schedule that works for them.

Beth Dugat

President & Director

Beth Dugat is the founder, director, CEO, and lead instructor of La Vida Laser & Aesthetics Institute! With more than a decade of experience in the medical aesthetics industry, she has dedicated her career to advancing education and helping students build successful careers in lasers, skincare, and advanced aesthetic treatments. Beginning her career as a licensed laser professional, Beth quickly developed a passion for teaching and went on to lead training programs before establishing her own state-approved institute. She remains actively involved in curriculum development, hands-on instruction, and staying current with emerging technologies, treatment innovations, and industry regulations. Known for her hands-on leadership and commitment to student success, Beth has built La Vida Laser & Aesthetics Institute around small class sizes, personalized mentorship, and real-world clinical training. Her mission is to provide high-quality education that prepares students with the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills needed to thrive in today’s evolving aesthetics industry. Outside of work, Beth enjoys life on the water with her husband, three children, and first grandchild aboard La Vida Luxury Charters, fully embracing the lifestyle that inspired the La Vida brand.

Greg Dugat

Vice President

Greg Dugat serves as vice president (VP) of La Vida Laser & Aesthetics Institute, where he provides business leadership, strategic planning, financial administration, and operational oversight. With a background in safety and health and training in emergency medicine, Greg brings decades of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, workforce development, and organizational leadership. Throughout his career, he has earned multiple national safety awards, served as a guest speaker at industry conferences, represented professional organizations in Washington, D.C., and received recognition from the American Cancer Society for his contributions to workplace safety and community service. Greg is also a qualified safety consultant, EMT, instructor, and private pilot. In addition to his role at La Vida Laser & Aesthetics Institute, Greg holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain License and co-owns La Vida Luxury Charters in Kemah, Texas, alongside his wife, Beth Dugat. His diverse professional background and commitment to excellence help support the continued growth and success of both organizations.

Cristina Flores

Dean Of Admissions & Instructor

Cristina Flores serves as dean of admissions and instructor at La Vida Laser & Aesthetics Institute, where she is dedicated to helping prospective students take the first step toward a successful career in medical aesthetics. With over five years of experience in the aesthetics industry as a licensed esthetician, laser professional, and certified provider in advanced aesthetic treatments, Cristina understands the educational and professional journey students are embarking on. Known for her approachable personality and genuine desire to help others succeed, Cristina guides students through the enrollment process with care, ensuring they have the information and support needed to choose the training path that best aligns with their goals. Her industry experience allows her to provide valuable insight into career opportunities, licensing requirements, and professional development within the growing field of aesthetics. In addition to her leadership role, Cristina remains actively involved in student education and hands-on training, allowing her to stay connected to both the classroom and the evolving needs of the industry. Outside of La Vida, she enjoys spending time with her family and embracing life as a proud mother.
